For the first time ever since the first government took over following the unification of both Yemens, the Yemeni government has named on Tuesday an official spokesman.
According to a statement released by the Yemeni cabinet, following a discussion over media policy Tuesday and in wake of regional and international developments, it was agreed upon to name Nasr Taha Mustapha as the official government spokesman, KUNA reported.
Mustapha currently serves as the board chairman and editor-in-chief of the official Yemeni news agency. (Albawaba.com)
