The Iraqi government spokesman in Baghdad Wednesday expressed Prime Minister Ayad al-Alawi`s interest to visit
the Islamic Republic of Iran and said that he has not received thus far any invitation from Iranian officials.
Speaking to IRNA news agency, he added that al-Alawi has received invitation letters from various Persian Gulf countries and several European states. (Albawaba.com)
