South Korea has agreed to a North Korean proposal to hold talks next week on the North's nuclear development programs, South Korean media reported.
The cabinet-level discussions could lead to a possible breakthrough in the ongoing crisis over Pyongyang's nuclear weapons drive.
The four-day inter-Korean ministerial talks, which are expected to also include reconciliation proposals, are due to start Tuesday in Seoul, Yonhap News Agency reported.
South Korea had initially proposed the talks begin Friday, but instead, Pyongyang requested January 21. (Albawaba.com)
