Egyptian Defense Minister Hussein Tantawi this week received a delegation headed by his South African counterpart, Patrick Likota, according to the daily Al Ahram.
The two sides discussed the recent regional and international developments, mechanisms to enhance military cooperation between Egypt and South Africa, and other topics of mutual interest.
The guests were officially welcomed at the Egyptian Ministry of Defense headquarters. The delegation visited the statue of the Unknown Soldier and the tomb of the late Egyptian president Anwar Al Sadat – Albawaba.com
