South Africa to elect new president

ALBAWABA - The new South African parliament is set to meet on Friday to elect a new president.

"The first sitting of the National Assembly shall be on Friday, 14 June 2024," Chief Justice Raymond Zondo stated in an order published to the public on Monday by the justice ministry. One of the first jobs of the parliament is to elect a speaker and South Africa's president.
