U.S. Secretary of State Colin Powell is expected to meet Egypt's President Hosni Mubarak in the Egyptian Red Sea resort of Sharm al-Sheikh on Wednesday, a source close to the presidency said.
The source said Powell would meet Mubarak during a two-hour stopover in Sharm al-Sheikh, following a flight from Kenya.
For its part, a U.S. embassy official said that Powell was scheduled to make a refuelling stop in Egypt later in the week but could not confirm the meeting with the Egyptian leader. (Albawaba.com)
