Sony Ericsson supports 4th GCC Economic Forum

Leading global mobile communications giant Sony Ericsson is sponsoring the 4th GCC Economic Forum happening on 17-21 December 2005 at the Burj Al Arab in Dubai.

The sponsorship of the premiere regional branding event underscores Sony Ericsson's commitment to supporting conferences and similar undertakings that foster the growth of trade in the region.

"The Middle East has a lot of opportunities for growth and conferences like this should help the region share ideas and expertise on how to best take advantage of these opportunities," said Husni El-Assi, General Manager of Sony Ericsson, Middle East and Africa.
The 4th GCC Economic Forum addresses major regional and global economic issues and feature world-renowned economists and experts who will present their views on the challenges involved for the GCC economy with Free Trade Agreements.
Major topics for discussion at the forum will include strategic influence of free trade agreements on the GCC economy, enabling GCC women via leadership, challenges for the GCC banking and finance industry, GCC single currency and customs union, ensuring quality of re-engineering government processes, attracting Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) in the GCC and more.
