Somali President Abdul Qasem Salaad Hassan has cancelled a scheduled tour to several Arab countries this week due to “technical reasons,” Somali officials told ArabicNews.com on Tuesday.
Hasan was scheduled to visit Egypt, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Kuwait, Sudan, Qatar and Syria.
The sources did not elaborate on the reson of the delay, but told the news service that Hassan apologized to Mubarak for “being unable to arrive in Cairo at the due time for emergency reasons.”
However, another source cited the deteriorating situation and the recent alliance between Ethiopia and Somali warlords as the reason behind the delay – Albawaba.com
