Six Algerians have been slaughtered by a “terrorist group” near the city of Medea, 100 km to the south of Algiers, reported the El Khabar newspaper on Thursday.
The region of Medea used to be the headquarters of Islamist militants said to be behind the wave of massacres in the country since 1992, when Islamists were denied a democratic win in the Parliament by the military.
