Six people were killed Wednesday when a civilian Mi-8 helicopter crashed in Russia's far eastern Chukotka region, Interfax news agency quoted regional emergency ministry officials as saying.
The chopper belonged to the private aviation firm Chukotavia and crashed near a village called Enurmino, the report said.
It was not immediately clear what caused the accident -- MOSCOW (AFP)
