Six people, including a child, were killed Sunday morning when their hot air balloon burst into flames and plummeted to the ground after hitting a power line in Clery, in eastern France, police said.
The balloon caught fire on contact with the power line and the gas canisters on board blew up because of the heat.
Police said the victims were burned to death. Two bodies were found intact, while a search was on for the four others, which had been scattered by the explosion, they said -- CHAMBERY, France (AFP)
