Siemens Mobile Devices will make some waves this summer as it joins hands with the UAE’s most popular waterpark, Wild Wadi, to offer visitors exclusive offers and an array of prizes during the ’Siemens Summer Surfin’ at Wild Wadi’ promotion on selected days throughout the month of June.
The ’Siemens Summer Surfin’ at Wild Wadi’ promotion promises outdoor entertainment for the whole family on every Saturday in June, as well as Thursday and Friday, 23 and 24 June, whereby every Wild Wadi visitor is guaranteed to walk away a winner, as well as experience a memorable day at the waterpark.
During the ’Siemens Summer Surfin’ at Wild Wadi’ promotion, visitors will receive a ‘scratch & win’ card with chances to win Siemens mobile phones, Wild Wadi and Siemens discount vouchers, Wild Wadi tickets and Siemens merchandise.
Every visitor will also be eligible to enter a raffle draw, ensuring that one lucky winner will become one of the privileged few in the world to own a Siemens Limited Edition mobile phone at the end of each promotional day. The purchase of a Siemens M65 outdoor mobile phone from Souk Al Wadi will give participants TRIPLE chances to win the Limited Edition.
Activities in the park include the ‘Siemens Flowrider Challenge’ whereby a team of judges will occupy the Wipeout Flowrider in hopes of selecting the most controlled, skilled and talented rider to ‘toughen’ it out on the waves. Occurring three times a day, the winners of each ‘Siemens Challenge’ will compete head-to-head in the final to win its ‘toughest’ mobile phone- the Siemens M65.
The Siemens M65 combines a unique mix of rubber and metal and has recently acquired international certification for its dust and splash resistance, pushing outdoor communications to new limits. Its successor, the robust Siemens M75, entails a ‘Siemens Protection System’ and a unique, rugged design ensuring the phone remains just as tough as its owner.
‘The Siemens M-class phones stand out from the competitors in this segment by providing superior outdoor functionality, the latest multimedia features and high quality design, says Asim Sukhera, Vice President, Siemens Mobile Devices, Middle East and Africa.
“The core of Wild Wadi clientele fit the profile of both the Siemens M65 and M75 user; our phones cater to those of whom have active lifestyles and appreciate a mobile companion that can withstand the elements, come rain or shine.”
Abby Dean, Marketing Communications Manager of Wild Wadi adds, “We are looking forward to welcoming Siemens and all surfing fans into Wild Wadi for a fun filled month to help celebrate the launch of the new M75 mobile phone. It will certainly be put through its paces in our testing playground as it withstands the speed of Jumeirah Sceirah and the Siemens Challenge held at the Wipeout Flowrider.”
During the last weekend of June, professional surfers flown especially from Durban Wave House in South Africa, will enthrall the crowd with their best stunts at the Wipeout Flowrider. Asserting just how ‘tough’ the Siemens M-class phones are, the professional surfers will ensure their tough mobile companion challenges the waves with them.
