A senior Shiite cleric in Lebanon demanded a dual trial for ousted Iraqi leader, Saddam Hussein, "one before an Iraqi tribunal for his crimes against the people of Iraq and one before an international court for crimes he committed against humanity," the Beirut-based An Nahar newspaper reported on Thursday.
Sheikh Afif Nabulsi, chairman of the Association of Jebel Amel Ulemas, made his demand during a news conference he held in Sidon Wednesday, saying he would personally sue Saddam for "crimes he committed against Lebanese clerics."
