The historic Sheikh Juma Al Maktoum House in Shindagha, newly restored under a Dh1.2 million Dubai Municipality project, will be used as a model of local architecture.
Rashad Mohammed Bukhash, Assistant Director of the General Projects Department and Head of the Historical Buildings Section, said this was part of an ambitious plan to preserve the local architectural heritage, Gulf News reported. (Albawaba.com)
