As if the delightful gourmet meals weren’t enough, Sezzam gives diners an extra treat with a unique and entertaining mix of daily international artistic performances. Combined with a great view and professional service, Sezzam officially is the most palatably enjoyable and by far the most exciting restaurant to visit in Dubai.
“We have, at Sezzam, become known for serving delicious food coupled with great entertainment. From music to magic, world-class entertainment, spice up the servings at Sezzam for the next couple of months. Featuring the Von Trolley Quartet and Oyster Opera, as well as magic by Ben, Adam and Romany Romay Diva of Magic who was only recently awarded the prestigious Magic Circle Stage Magician of the Year 2006/2007.
The Von Trolley Quartet has been especially popular among diners, given the group’s unique music, and wacky performances. Imagine a drummer and guitarist, who play what appear to be toy instruments, strumming and beating with a clown-licke schtick. “The result is a unique, yet wonderful music that never ceases to amaze our guests, even myself,” added Henssler.
For those who think that opera is boring and just for the snobs, think again. Oyster Opera, performing three times a week in Sezzam, offers a different musical encounter. Henssler explained: “Oyster Opera have been delighting audiences of all ages for several years now, and it's certainly not just for opera buffs! The Oysters are unique - they combine beautiful singing with having fun and a good dose of audience participation. Oyster Opera believe that opera can and should be enjoyed by everyone - they are always keen to involve children in the act, as it's often the first time they have heard an operatic voice, and the effect is truly magical.”
In the adjacent hip and trendy Evory Lounge, entertainment picks up every night of the week with ‘Black Light Theatre’ a new and innovative type of theatre that has its roots in ancient times and comes all the way from Prague. In addition to the daily theatre acts, Abstrakt Collision will be playing three times a night. Abstrakt collision is a contemporary, fusion jazz music band whose style is often described as free flowing and experimental and has recently built quite a strong following among Dubai’s club-hopping crowd, who also frequently visit Evory for its resident DJs and thrice a week appearances of DJ Paz.
“And there’s a lot more to come in December. We at Sezzam and Evory lounge will make sure that we always have something amusing going on by being constantly on the look out for the most original and innovative entertainment from around the world,” ended Henssler.
