A passenger train collided with a cargo train Saturday near the town of Pilsen in the Czech Republic, leaving some 15 people injured, a railway spokesman said.
One person was seriously injured in the accident that occurred at 9 am (0800 GMT) at the Plesnice station on a railway linking Pilsen to the city of Sheb on the Czech-German border.
Work to clear up the wreck from the collision was continuing around midday Saturday, the spokesman said -- PRAGUE (AFP)
