Senior official: Path of Iran's nuclear development is clear

Iran's Secretary of Supreme National Security Council Ali Larijani said on Wednesday that the technical path of the country's nuclear research and development is clear and that it is being conducted under the supervision of the UN nuclear watchdog.

 

The SNSC secretary made the statement, in response to a question about implementation of two new cascades of centrifuge, at a joint press conference with the visiting Indian Foreign Minister Pranab Mukherjee after their meeting.

 

According to IRNA, Larijani said that there is no confidential issues in this regard and that plans on it had earlier been declared to the International Atomic Energy Agency. He added that through cooperation with the IAEA, the trend of the agency's supervision over Iran's nuclear activities will be more accurate in future.
