Acting President of the Court of Grievances Sheikh Mansoor bin Hamad Al-Malek met in Riyadh on Tuesday with the UN special rapporteur on the independence of judges and lawyers Dato Param Cumaraswamy, who is currently visiting the Saudi Kingdom, SPA said.
During the meeting, Sheikh Al-Malek briefed the UN special envoy on the history of the Court of Grievances and its work, stressing that the court has given all judges full-time work to dedicate themselves to their jobs. "This will give them (the judges) the opportunity to give just judgments especially in the complicated commercial issues that involve various nationalities according to the Islamic Sharia" Sheikh Al-Malek added.
