A Saudi man convicted of killing a countryman was beheaded by the sword in the southern Saudi province of Assir on Wednesday, an interior ministry statement said.
Saeed bin Jari bin Ali al-Beishi was found guilty of stabbing to death Mohammad bin Abdullah bin Saad al-Shahrani after a quarrel, the statement added. The beheading brought to 24 the number of executions in the Saudi kingdom this year, according to interior ministry statements monitored by AFP. (Albawaba.com)
