The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has strongly denied the report of the London-based Guardian newspaper on Thursday which claimed that the Kingdom was planning to acquire nuclear weapons.
A statement released by the Saudi Embassy in London, and quoted Friday by the SPA, said the Saudi Arabia has no intention to acquire a nuclear bomb or any other kind of nuclear weapons. "There is no program of atomic energy at any part of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and there is no plan for implementing such a program," the statement added.
