Under the sponsorship of Prince Sultan Bin Salman Bin Abdul Aziz, Chairman of the Aviation Club, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will host a unique first-time event in January and February 2005. The professional pilots of the Flying Bulls Aerobatics Team will perform live aerial shows in the Kingdom three major cities before the astounded eyes of thousands of spectators.
Since this event was first announced to the public, the offices of the Saudi Aviation Club were turned into a hive of activity in preparation for this historic event that will transform the Saudi sky into an exciting aerobatic flying theater.
More than 30 persons are involved in the preparation of this event that required the organizers to obtain all of the necessary permits from the competent Ministries, the Emirates and the Civil Aviation Department.
Within this context, Captain Ahmad El-Johani, General Manager of the Saudi Aviation Club said: “This is a very big event and it is the first of its kind in Saudi Arabia. It is thus completely normal that we create a team of this magnitude that is in charge of working on the provision of the necessary permits and ensuring the follow-up of the other logistical issues.”
