Saudi aid for Palestinians

The Saudi Committee for the Relief of the Palestinian People, handed over on Wednesday ambulances and  

fire-extinguishing vehicles, buses, devices and medical supplies to Palestinian ambassador to the Kingdom Mustafa Hashim Al-Sheikh Deeb. According to SPA, a ceremony for the handing over of the relief consignment was held with the attendance of the visiting Palestinian Premier Ahmed Qurei, Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr. Nabil Shaath, Minister of Public Works and Housing Dr Abdulrahman Hamad as well as senior Saudi officials.  

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Sa'ed Orabi Al-Harethi, an advisor to the Interior Minister, said the relief consignment included 30 well -equipped ambulances costing SR 3, 065,693 in addition to five buses (SR 828,000), three fire extinguishing vehicles (SR 429,000), four dialysis 

machines and 10 movable-chairs for dialysis (SR 187,000).
