Sahara Centre kicks off Sharjah’s summer drive with AED 3 million campaign

Sharjah economic and tourism officials laud summer promotions that will give away four Peugeot 307s and family getaways at Le Meridien Al Aqah Beach Resort among other prizes

Sharjah, UAE – Expect loads of fun and prizes this summer in Sahara Centre when Sharjah’s favourite shopping and entertainment destination launches its AED 3 million Cruise Your Way to a Weekend Getaway promotions from 15 June to 31 August, featuring four (4) Peugeot 307 cc and 32 family vacation getaways at Le Meridien Al Aqah Beach Resort.

The Cruise Your Way to a Weekend Getaway was launched in simple ceremonies attended by Mr. Ali Salem Al Mahmoud, Director General, Sharjah Economic Development Department; Mohammed Al Noman, Director, Sharjah Commerce and Tourism Development Authority; Mrs. Nawal Askar, Deputy Director, Economic and Public Relations, Sharjah Economic Development Department; Mr. Jehad Alzaabi, Head of Commercial Development Section & Trade Centres, Sharjah Economic Development Department and Mr. Mohammad Bin Fares, Head of Sales and Promotions, Sharjah Economic Department, as well as Sahara Centre’s top management team led by general manager Dean John.

For a minimum spend of AED200 on any retail outlet in Sahara Centre, shoppers get a raffle coupon to enter the four (4) draws on July 4 and 24, as well as on August 12 and 31.

The exciting summer promotion positions Sahara Centre as the ideal destination for residents and tourists from across the GCC to have an entertaining and rewarding alternative for their shopping and leisure needs this summer.

The mall will be abuzz with activities for the entire family, such as the Sahara Centre  Fun Factory, where mall clowns Makit and Brakit will entertain shoppers and guests with fun and exciting stories, workshops, Kermes games, animation, interactive activities, to name a few. The amiable clowns will also be giving away gifts and prizes to kids throughout the promotion period.

As a bonus treat, majority of Sahara Centre’s retail outlets are participating in a mall-wide discount extravaganza, which promises as much as 70 per cent discount to shoppers. There will also be beauty make-over sessions, art exhibits, and nutrition seminars designed to entertain and educate guests while shopping at Sahara Centre.

And from 15 July to 31 August, Sahara Centre will also feature the Best Summer of My Life Kids Art Exhibition and Competition, showcasing artworks created by children which will later be judged, giving the young artists a chance to win exciting prizes from Sahara Centre.
