ALBAWABA - At least 12 people were killed and two others were injured in a road accident in Indonesia, chief development minister Muhadjir Effendy said on Monday.
AFP reported citing the Indonesian minister: "It was confirmed that there were 12 passengers," in the car that crashed into a bus in Karawang town of West Java province at 7 a.m.
In detail, the crash took place on a highway in Karawang town of West Java province where a car heading east from Jakarta swerved and hit the bus and another vehicle.
Nonetheless, TV channels posted a video earlier on Monday of two wrecked cars that were completely burnt in the accident which shocked many days ahead of Eid celebrations.
Local media outlets said that a great number of people are currently travelling to their hometowns and families in order to celebrate Eid Al-Fitr.
At least 800,000 vehicles were recorded leaving Greater Jakarta between April 3 and 6, authorities said.
