Yemen's embassy in Pakistan received confirmations from the Red Cross, saying that U.S troops are holding Yemeni citizen Abdul-Salam Ali al-Hela and four other Yemenis in Afghanistan, a press report said Thursday.
The 26 September weekly repoted that the five men are being detained in the Begram military base in north of Kabul.
An official source told the publication that the relevant Yemeni bodies were in contact with U.S. authorities to secure their release.
