A group of reserve pilots in the Israeli air force intends to publicly declare their refusal to take part in attempts to assassinate Palestinian activists.
The group has been discussing the issue for more than three months, Haaretz daily reported on Friday in its front page. According to the newspaper, the group is in the process of collecting the last signatures and is waiting for "the right moment" to issue its announcement.
Israel has adopted a policy of extrajudicial killings (or assassinations) of Palestinian activists in an attempt to suppress the current Palestinian uprising against its military occupation of the West Bank, Gaza Strip and East Jerusalem.
This Israeli policy is illegal according to the international law.
