A meeting between Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak and Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak may take place within a few days, reported Haaretz quoting Israel Radio.
Mubarak held talks Thursday with Palestinian President Yasser Arafat in Cairo to discuss US President Bill Clinton's peace proposals. The Palestinian President also held a meeting with a number of Arab foreign ministers during which they announced their support for Palestinian rights on refugees and Jerusalem.
According to the paper, a three-way summit between Arafat, Barak and Mubarak may soon be held in a bid to put an end to the unrest in Palestinian territories.
A summit in Sharm el-Shiekh between the three leaders was cancelled last week after Mubarak failed to bring together the two parties for talks-- Albawaba.com
