Recent survey shows looking good everyday gives men the same thrill as driving fast

A recent survey by Braun, a P&G brand and the world’s leading electrical goods manufacturer, amongst men attending the Red Bull Reach the Top event in Al Ain, UAE, showed some 55% think looking good everyday is like driving at 120km with the top down.

“As one of the key sponsors of Red Bull Reach the Top we decided to carry out a survey amongst attendees that would give us an insight into men’s attitude to style and their appearance,” said Manoj Nair, Regional Business Manager, Braun.

But it’s not just speed that men equate with style, it seems that the region’s men are also romantics as 28% said looking good everyday is like a beautiful woman saying ‘I love you’.  And, scoring a crucial goal (10%) and beating a major business competitor (7%) also give men the same feelings as looking good everyday.

The survey found one of the main reasons men in the region have facial hair is because they think it looks cool (42% cited this as their reason) whilst 27% choose to have facial hair because it gives them confidence.  Other reasons chosen were because it is fashionable to have facial hair (18%) and because everyone else has it (13%).
