The Qatari Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifah al-Thani will pay a one-day visit to Algeria on Thursday, diplomatic sources were quoted as saying by the Kuwaiti News Agency (KUNA).
The emir will arrive in Algiers coming from Paris, following his participation in the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, said the sources.
It will be the emir's third visit to the Arab African country since President Abdelaziz Bouteflika assumed power two years ago.
Meanwhile, Iran's News Agency (IRNA) reported Wednesday that the emir received Tuesday an invitation to visit Iran in the near future.
The agency did not mention whether the Qatari side accepted the invitation or not -- Albawaba.com
