Qatar and Yemen reviewed on Monday bilateral ties in the economic field and ways of setting up joint ventures in natural gas production, reported the Gulf Times newspaper.
The topic was discussed during a meeting between Yemeni Prime Minister Abdul Qadar Bajamal and Qatari Minister of Energy and Industry, Abdullah bin Hamad al-Attiyah, who is currently visiting Sanaa.
“The Yemeni prime minister laid stress on the significance of maintaining close co-ordination and co-operation between Yemen and Qatar with regard to natural gas production and marketing to serve the mutual interests of both countries and peoples,” a statesmen said, cited by the paper.
Earlier, the Qatari minister met his Yemeni counterpart, Abdul Rahman Mohamed Ali Othman, and reviewed with him aspects of cooperation and the prospects of promoting industrial, trading and food product exports between the two countries, the statement added – Albawaba.com
