Qatar's second deputy Prime Minister, minister of Energy and Industry, Abdullah Ahmed Al-Attyah, and his accompanying delegation arrived in Libya Saturday afternoon. He was received at Matiga International airport by the Secretary of the General People's Committee for Energy, Governor of Great Jamahiriya at OPEC, Director of Cooperation at the General People's Committee for Foreign Liaison and International Cooperation, several specialists at the General People's Committee for Energy, ambassador and members of the Qatari embassy to Tripoli.
In a statement to <i>Jana</i>, the Qatari second deputy Prime minister, and minister of energy and industry expressed his delight to visit Libya. He underlined the "deeply brotherly relations between Great Jamahiriya and Qatar."
He explained that the visit is in line with the consolidation of common cooperation especially in the fields of energy and industry. He pointed out that there are big fields to develop and activate common work between the two brotherly peoples.
