A demonstration of Arabs and Swiss activists on Saturday marched along the main streets of the central part of Geneva and eventually gathered at the United Nations square.

The huge group urged the Swiss and others to boycott Israeli agricultural products, which are produced in settlements on Palestinian territories, which they pointed out, is a strict violation of the Geneva conventions.

In a statement circulated, they further said, that the Swiss have imported agricultural goods from Israel worth SF 40 million, and explained that it is easy to mark those products out in Swiss markets even if unlabelled because they carry the code 729, according to the Kuwait News Agency KUNA.

Moreover, the demonstrators emphasized that the Jenin massacres would not pass in history as an insignificant incident. They carried coffins labeled UN and Geneva conventions, as an statement of the death of both institutions, which failed to protect the Palestinians under the Israeli occupation, KUNA added.
