Five Moroccan associations have called for a sit-in of solidarity with the Palestinian people, according to Maghreb Arabe Presse.
The Non Governmental Organizations (NGO’s), namely the Association of the Moroccan Bars, the Moroccan League for Human Rights Defense, the Moroccan Human Rights Association, the Moroccan Human Rights Organization and the Morocco section of Amnesty international, said in a statement that the 30-minute sit-in would take place next Wednesday in Rabat, in front of the Palestinian embassy in the Moroccan capital.
The sit-in will show solidarity with the Palestinian people and will protest the "policy of Zionist escalation against the interests and the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people," the NGO statement added. (Albawaba.com)
