A pro-Israeli spy ring was recently uncovered in south Lebanon after its members were found to have links with Israel, security sources were quoted as saying by the Daily Star newspaper Friday.

"The ring comprises both Lebanese and Palestinians, including two high-ranking members of the Fateh movement," a security source told the paper.

They were identified as Sami Akkawi and Mohammed Ali Obeid, said the source.
