according to JANA, President Zain Alabideen Bin Ali, of Tunisia, a member of the Conference of Leaders and Head of States of Cen -Sad Community, praised the great success achieved by the 5th African Union Summit held in Sert.
He appreciated the opportunity of the summit that enabled him to meet the
leader.
In a cable to the Leader of the Revolution, President Ben Ali stated " I
express my satisfaction for the success of the summit, and the distinctive
opportunity it provided to conduct discussions and consultations on such vital issues as development challenges, debt problem, addressing conflicts, and making preparations to the World Summit for Information Society as well as UN reform.
" I also express my delight for the opportunity offered by the summit to meet you again, and my appreciation of the great role that you personally assumed for its good preparations and success" president Ben Ali added in his cable to the leader.
He commended the warm reception accorded to him and his accompanying
delegation, reflecting the strong brotherly ties between the two countries.
