Yemen's President Ali Abdullah Saleh said on Wednesday that helping the fellow Muslims and humans who fell victims to the recent tsunami disaster is a religious obligation, SABA reported.

Addressing the nation on the eve of Eid al-Adhha, President Saleh said that earlier Muslims have always aligned together in terms of crisis and that Yemeni people, described by prophet Mohammed (P.U.H) as "most gentle-hearted", are supposed to be major helpers for tsunami victims.
