Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak is due to deliver a televised speech to inaugurate the country’s celebrations of the anniversary of the 1973 October War between Egypt and Israel.
However, Information Minister Safwat El Sherif was quoted by the Cairo-based Al Ahram as saying that the time for the speech had not yet been set.
He also said that the celebration program might be limited to military parades due to the “current circumstances at the international and regional levels.” – Albawaba.com
