US Secretary of State Colin Powell met Tuesday in Washington with Omani Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Yousif bin Alaw, reported the official Omani news Agency (ONA).
The meeting comes within the framework of annual talks between Oman and the United States, said ONA.
Bilateral relations and issues of common concern were discussed during the meeting, it said.
Alawi arrived in Washington on Monday, and is scheduled to meet with several US lawmakers – Albawaba.com
