According to PETRA, a study conducted by the Royal Scientific Society, (RSS), on the economic and social impact on the Jordan-Euro partnership agreement has underlined the importance of developing institutional structure supervising the
agreement's implementation through supporting and developing the specialized unit at the Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation.
The study called for examining opportunities and emerging challenges resulting from the recent expansion of the EU and the future plans and its reflection on Jordan.
It also called for finding means that guarantee the process of increasing Jordanian exports to EU countries as an alternative to financial aid.
The study called for developing the local social protection network to protect those who have been harmed by liberalizing of trade and supporting the Social Security Corporation approach to find insurance against unemployment.
Study also called the government for helping the Jordanian private sector, particularly the middle and small institutions in studying the European markets to facilitate the process of these companies.
