Palestinian refugees in southern Lebanon hurled a hand grenade Monday on Israeli soldiers behind the border's barbed wire, without inflicting casualties, an AFP correspondent saw.
About 20 Palestinian refugees gathered in Ramiyeh, southeast of the coastal town of Naqoura and facing the Zareet settlement in northern Israel, threw stones and a hand grenade which exploded without causing injuries.
Israeli soldiers on the other side ducked down, but did not fire back.
It was the first such serious incident at the border that came to shake up the relative calm that had been prevailing since the weekend violent flare-up.
Two Palestinian refugees were killed and 17 other people were wounded on Saturday at the Ramiya border point when Israeli soldiers opened fire at protestors hurling stones and Molotov coktails over the border fence.
