One Palestinian was killed and one captured on Wednesday following a raid by Israeli occupation forces in the town of Jenin, Israeli sources reported. Some 10 armored vehicles, jeeps and bulldozers stormed the West Bank town, where a gun battle between Al Aqsa Martyrs Brigade fighters and Israeli forces ensued.
Occupation forces stormed several buildings, purportedly in search of Palestinian activists. Additionally, Israeli sources reported that two occupation soldiers were wounded in the battle. The victim was identified as Yusuf El-Hasif, 17, according to Palestinian sources.
Meanwhile in the Gaza Strip, occupation forces opened fire on Palestinian traffic wouding a 23 year old Palestinian passenger, according to medical sources at Khan Younis' Nasser Hospital.
Nearby, forces stormed a flour mill not far from a settler road to the Gush Katif settlement bloc. Employees at the mill were then questioned by the soldiers, who offered no explanation for the search, according to Palestinian security sources.
