A Palestinian man died Sunday of wounds sustained by Israeli fire during last month's Israeli raid on the northern of Gaza Strip, which resulted in more than 140 dead.
Meanwhile, Israel's Chief of Staff Moshe Ya'alon said Sunday that "cooperation between Israel and Palestinians in recent days is the best that it has been for a long time," Israel's Army Radio reported. Ya'alon was speaking to a special session of the Israeli cabinet.
Ya'alon dismissed, however, press reports that Israel had granted Palestinian security forces official permission to carry weapons throughout the West Bank. He said Israel granted permission to bear arms only in the West Bank city of Ramallah until Monday. (albawaba.com)
