Pakistani Interior Minister Moinuddin Haider delivered a message from President Pervez Musharraf to Qatari Emir Sheikh Hamad Bin Khalifa Al-Thani in Doha on Sunday, a Pakistani government statement issued in Islamabad said.

Haider flew into the capital of Doha on Saturday for a two-day visit as special emissary of President Musharraf. He also met with his Qatari counterpart, the statement said, according to the Saudi Press Agency.

From Qatar, Haider is expected to leave for Tehran on a four-day official visit, where he will meet with Iranian President Muhammad Khatemi.

The statement said that Haider would also hold talks with his Iranian counterpart besides meeting Iran's foreign and information ministers. In the course of his visit to the Islamic Republic of Iran, a mutual cooperation accord will be reached between the two interior ministers, the statement said. (Albawaba.com)
