Pakistani national Zahir Khan Shah was beheaded in the Saudi Red Sea port city of Jeddah on Tuesday after being convicted of smuggling heroin into the Saudi Kingdom.
"The culprit was convicted by the Shariah Court, and the
verdict was approved by the Cassation Court and the Supreme Judicial Council," said a statement issued in Jeddah by the Saudi Arabian Interior Ministry, carried by the official SPA news agency. (Albawaba.com)
