Last night, THE One took centre stage as the fabulously funky home fashion brand walked away with two awards at Dubai’s RetailME Awards ceremony!
• For the second year in a row, THE One scooped the Lifestyle Retailer of the Year award for their creative and unique approach to lifestyle retail.
• For the first time, the new award for Retail Technology of the Year was bestowed upon THE One for taking the information superhighway by storm with their innovative Intranet, an internal communications web site for all employees in the company.
THE One’s Inventor, Thomas Lundgren, and one of his partners, Rashid Al Mazroui, were present at the event along with a huge group of THE One’s tribe to receive the awards. Accepting the trophies, Lundgren said: 'This is amazing! We are so honoured that we received two Retail Middle East awards for the second year running, especially considering the fact that competition in the market, and therefore also for these awards, is growing stronger by the day.'
The awards marked yet another rocking year for the home fashion brand, born and bred in the UAE, who have once again won the hearts and minds of both the region’s retail industry and their fans.
