Dr. Yahya bin Mahfoudh al-Manthri, Omani Higher Education Minister, met with Omani students in Egypt at the Sultanate's Students Club in Cairo Monday night.
The Minister, who was taking part in the First Conference for the Arab Thought Institution in the Egyptian capital, hailed the active participation of Omani students in activities held at various Egyptian universities, colleges and institutes, the Oman News Agency said.
He added that the Omani government was keen to establish the Sultanate's cultural center in Egypt and that specialists had embarked on preparing the building's maps.
The meeting was attended by Salim bin Hamad Al-Mughaizwi, Sultanate's Cultural Attache in Cairo and Ali bin Salim al-Wahaibi, head of Omani Students Club in Cairo. (Albawaba.com)
