Oman’s Foreign Minister Youssef bin Alawi left for Germany Thursday on a two-day visit.
The Omani News Agency (ONA) quoted Alawi as saying that his talks with German officials would focus on relations between the European Union and the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states as well as the developments of anti-terrorism war.
Echoing a statement from the 57-state Organization of the Islamic Conference, the minister added that Arab and Muslim states believed that the UN should be the umbrella organization for any action against terrorists – Albawaba.com
