Oman and the United Arab Emirates signed Tuesday detailed maps included in their joint border agreement from Um Al-Zamoul to east Al-Oqaydat areas.
According to a statement issued by the Omani Ministry of Interior on Tuesday, the agreement reflects the strong Omani-UAE relations.
Omani Ministry of Interior Undersecretary Mohammad Bin Sultan Al-Buseidi and UAE Ministry of Interior Undersecretary Major General Saif Bin Abdullah Al-Shafaar signed the agreement.
Oman's Sultan Qaboos Bin Said Al-Said and UAE former President Sheikh Zaid Bin Sultan Al-Nuhayyan signed the agreement in May 1999 in the Omani city of Sahar, the statement said.
