Oman and Russia reviewed their bilateral ties Wednesday during a joint meeting held in Moscow, reported the official Omani news agency (ONA).
An Omani delegation arrived in Moscow Tuesday, said the agency, adding that the delegation was headed by Secretary General of the Foreign Ministry Sayyid bin Tariq al Said.
“The two sides discussed relations between the two friendly countries and how to support and encourage private sector in both countries to exchange investments, as well as matters of common concern and latest regional and international developments,” a statement said.
Later, Al Said met with Russian Foreign Minister Igor Ivanov, said ONA, adding that the two sides reviewed existing bilateral relations, ways of enhancing them and latest regional and international issues particularly the Middle East peace process – Albawaba.com
