The Omani-Qatari joint committee began Sunday its sixth session in Muscat for talks on boosting bilateral cooperation in all fields, reported Gulf News.
The paper added that this session was the first to be held after the two countries severed their trade links with Israel shortly after the eruption of Intifada.
Head of the Qatari delegation, Abdullah bin Hamad Al Attiyah, said Qatar is committed to strengthening its all-round links with the Sultanate to serve the cause of the two governments and peoples.
Omani officials told the paper that talks will mainly focus on enhancing trade ties, and encouraging investment in both countries.
